Shopping in Bucks County, Pennsylvania
Bucks County is the top antiquing destination in Pennsylvania.
In fact, there are said to be more registered antique dealers in
the area than in any other region of the country. Antique
stores abound in village squares, along highways and in giant warehouses.
Whether you’re a serious collector or just simply love to
browse, you’ll find antiquing to be one of Bucks County’s
most enjoyable activities.
Another rewarding area to spend the day antiquing is along Route
32, also known as River Road. Skirting the Delaware River, it winds
through one of the most history-laden and bucolic sections of the
state. In addition to plenty of antique shops to explore, you’ll
drive past 18th century river front homes, picturesque villages,
wineries open for tours, and roadside produce stands. You’ll
also pass through the artsy town of New Hope, which is itself a
mecca for antiques.
