The Beaumont Botanical Gardens & Warren Loose Conservatory is a 23.5 acre public garden located within the tree-shaded 500 acres of Tyrrell Park in Beaumont. It is the home of the Bert and Jack Binks Horticultural Center and the Warren Loose Conservatory, the second largest conservatory in a public garden in the state of Texas. Numerous theme gardens that display camellias, modern and antique roses, bromeliads, and native plants are connected by a paved "Friendship Walk" which allows easy access for strollers.
The Clifton Steamboat Museum is a 24,000 sq ft, two-story museum. Step back and relive the spirit of history featuring “Heroes...Past, Present and Future,” honoring our military and civilian heroes. The museum exhibits bring to life the Wars fought in SE Texas and Louisiana, as well as the Steamboat era, World War I, World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Upper galleries of the museum feature original bronze sculptures; Native American artists, wildlife, and frontier paintings from famous artists. |
